Garbage Collection - Houlihan Sanitation (563) 927-5977
Garbage is collected every Monday. Residents are allowed two 35-gallon cans or bags, not exceeding 40 pounds each. Residents will be billed by the hauler for additional bags or cans.

Recycling Collection - Houlihan Sanitation (563) 927-5977
Recycling collection is on the first and third Friday of each month. Residents are allowed two recycling containers. Containers can be picked up at the City Office for no charge.

Holiday Collection - If the collection day is a holiday, collection will occur on the following business day.

Cleanup Weeks/Days - A cleanup day is usually held each August. A notice announcing the date is included in the garbage bill.
